Auchentoshan Three Wood

The Auchentoshan Three Wood is a whisky that has been matured in three different types of casks. The whisky is rich and complex with toffee and sherry flavors. It is a good whisky on its own, but also makes a cracking Auchentoshan & Ale, a mean Old Fashioned, and a damn fine dram in its own right. The whisky comes in a 750ml bottle.

From American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry and then, finally, Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks this a rich, complex whisky with toffee and sherry flavours. Three Wood makes a cracking Auchentoshan & Ale, a mean Old Fashioned and a damn fine dram in its own right. Nose:Blackcurrant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin notes.

Palate:Fruit and syrup. Hazelnut with hints of cinnamon and lemon. A butterscotch sweetness adds to the overall complexity. Finish:A fresh and fruity, smooth whisky with long lasting oaky sweetness. Bottle size: 750ml Alc: 43%
